I was planning to write here, and it's been a couple of weeks with no posts.

I'm not good at fixing my sleep schedule. And, well, work's busy. I guess I could cut some of the entertainment.

All my great thoughts and ideas haven't resulted in any large behavior shifts. It's not surprising, but I'm not giving up. By great thoughts and ideas I mean the yearly theme, and the way I was planning to keep this journal with regular updates, or maybe a paper one. To move towards my goals for this year.

Actually, one of the goals is to reach 100wpm typing speed in English. I think I can do it, I just need practice. I found a great website for that, thanks to AI. https://www.keybr.com/

It's simple, it knows what to give you itself, and it's smart. I like things like this, where all the decisions are made for you. I only practiced there on the first day when I learned about the site. But I'll be back, with a regular schedule.

I also finally caught up to my Anki notes. 300+ reviews at some point. These numbers were getting scary, but it's all good now.

I think it's mostly work stress. Even the games I play and the entertainment I consume - they're of the "leave my mind for a bit" variety. A stream in the background, a simple game (like an idle one) before me. And I just stop thinking.

It's not healthy.

I'll go to a JP speaking club tomorrow. That should switch my gears a bit. Oh, and I did dnd. But I'm gradually losing interest there. The whole group spends every session barely doing anything.

Anyway. What I actually need is to write first thing in the morning. Right now it's the phone, the chilling, the slow start. And then it's suddenly 13:00 (like now).

I think I'll spend some more time on myself rn (write a post about decision fatigue and emotional labor, inspired by keybr) and then get back to work.
