I commuted home while standing in the train today.
There were not enough seats, and I didn't move to the emptier car (it still probably didn't have enough seats, I tried checking through the window between the cars).
I used to stand in trains all the time - going from the north of Moscow to my dormitory. I don't remember feeling particularly tired at the time, but I guess I was indeed pretty tired.
I remember being tired after going to the previous place where I lived - I had to go even further by foot, and take an actual train and not just a subway one. I walked a lot at the time - 15 minutes to the station, then more than 10 minutes to work. No wonder I was so tired I guess.
Now I usually go home missing the rush hour - usually before it, but sometimes after it has passed. My train line isn't that busy, so I can sit down pretty often, and I guess I don't get as tired despite walking pretty fast?
But today it was rush hour. Thankfully, the line is still relatively free, so while I had to stand, there was lots of space to stand, and I could do my Anki reviews in peace. It's just. I wonder if that's why I'm so tired in the evening. Or maybe it's all twitter and youtube and getting distracted. I was planning to continue working on my AI project this evening, but it's already so late, and I don't even remember wasting that much time today.
I can feel my sentences being wrong here. Not sure why - might be because I've been trying to write in Japanese sometimes, which makes the sentence structure weirdly simplified, as I can't make up really complex sentences yet. Might be because I'm just sleepy.
