Fal ai has a llm api that I'm going to use for the comparison project.

Once again I'm learning how important it is to be secure, to put yourself out there. But it's hard and I'm insecure.

There were a few posts on twitter recently about TRE - trauma release exercises. They're not only about trauma, it's also something that triggers something in your brain and lets you be less timid or something like that. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm going to.

I'm going to quit by job soon, and at this point I just feel like not working anymore. Sometimes it makes me think "wait, what am I doing, am I stupid? I'm leaving my whole life, my country, my friends, my parents, everything, and planning to go to Japan. To do what, exactly? To live there, why? Will I try to become Japanese? This is stupid, just live your life, settle down (as in calm down, not necessarily settle for something low). Just stop."

But... I don't know. I don't know if I want to stop. At this point I don't know anything. I picked a plan and I'm just following it and trusting myself at the time I started all this.

Oh, right, there was some progress with ideas on the fiction project. My original idea of mixing magic systems wasn't great. I couldn't find how to hold it all together - I needed different settlements, different systems, different conflicts and characters. It was too much. Then, while discussing it with a friend, it hit me. It will be people, and not settlements/towns.

A traveling person, a magician maybe, who is searching for something. And he (presumably, "he") is not just going into different settlements. He's not just searchin. He's specifically searching for people, and every time he finds a person he interacts with them and tries to understand them, and that's where the various ideas come from.

The idea is rough, that's why I'm using vague words here - not mentioning what he's looking for and anything like that. But it doesn't matter, the key is there.
